Ok,the overnight train from xian to pingyao was fun but a bit tiring. After a short day in pingyao-- the site of the best preserved wall in china -- we were on a bullet train to Bejing. It was amazing! Obviously, there was time for fun!

Construction everywhere

While there are many changes around us in Xian this year, so many things haven’t changed, or slowed down at all.  Especially the construction.  24 / 7.  Outside our dorm, in the neighborhoods surrounding the campus, all across the city and into the edge of this sprawling metropolis – construction everywhere.
